Our Projects
Poverty humiliates and dehumanizes its victims. Its effect which includes lack and deprivation of the basic necessities of life is worrisome.
To this end Government and people in authority almost always strive to ensure that adequate structural programs are enshrined to see that poverty if not eradicated, is reduced to its barest minimum.
Pre-School Initiative
Our Pre/Nursery School Initiative aims at early literacy development of children at their formative age.
Education begins the moment the child is brought home from hospital and continues on when the child starts to attend playground and kindergartens. The learning process of humans continues for the rest of their lives but not at the intensity that is demonstrated in the preschool years. Early childhood is a crucial stage in terms of a child’s physical, emotional, intellectual and social development.
Growth of mental and physical abilities progress at an outstanding rate and a very high proportion of learning take place from birth to age six. With this in mind, babies and toddlers need positive early learning experiences to help their intellectual, social and emotional development thereby laying a good foundation for future success.
Adult Education Initiative
Our Adult Education Initiative aims at providing individuals (young and/or elderly) with a second chance at literacy which may in turn grant them a fair shot at improving quality of life.
Adult Education may be defined as the process whereby adults engage in systematic and sustained learning activities in order to gain new forms of knowledge, skills, attitudes or values. Adult literacy may also be said to be the ability to read, write, compute and use technology at a level that enables an individual to reach his or her full potential as a parent, employee, community member and even a successful farmer.
People who are illiterate in different respects are at a disadvantage in getting employment or getting loans from bank and financial institutions. For those who are not fortunate to have access to early learning, illiteracy can be an everyday struggle in adulthood.
